Born in Seoul in 1995, I initially started out in design before finding my true calling at the Korea National University of Arts (K-ARTS), where I studied Art Theory and minored in Plastic Arts. I am currently taking a break from my academic studies to fully immerse myself in the fast-paced world of film and video production.

   My creative journey began in the performing arts. As a founding member of the K-ARTS-based collective 'Garden of Words,' I collaborated on the multidisciplinary performance The One Sentence Lingering on the Tip of the Tongue for the 2020 Korea Fringe Festival. The following year, I expanded my role by co-directing and writing the script for If We Cannot Travel at the Speed of O. I also helped launch the physical theater group 'MOOT COMPANY' and, in 2022, directed a contemporary adaptation of the opera Fidelio at the Yeonhui Art Theater.

   My transition into the moving image industry began with music video sets in 2021, which led me to dive deep into short films and commercial videos as a versatile crew member starting in 2024. By the latter half of that year, I found my niche in lighting, serving as the lighting director for numerous graduation films within the Film and Broadcasting departments at K-ARTS. Today, I am entirely focused on video production, working towards my career goal of becoming a freelance filmmaker and lighting director.

   Though my momentum was temporarily paused by a severe on-set fall in October 2025, I used the first half of 2026 to focus on recovery. I am now back to my daily routine, undergoing rehabilitation, and ready to take on new creative challenges.
